Evaluation

Type of MTPE
A decision is made on whether light post-editing will suffice, where the machine translation output requires only minimal corrections, or if full post-editing is necessary, involving adjustments to formatting, syntax, terminology, and stylistic guidelines.
Candidate
A candidate for post-editing is selected based on internal quality standards, language proficiency, and domain expertise. The machine translation output is provided to this candidate along with reference materials and any relevant terminology files.
Review
The translation is reviewed to ensure consistency, adherence to the specified terminology, and accuracy in syntax, grammar, and formatting. It is also ensured that the text is well-suited for its intended audience and follows any stylistic guidelines provided by the end client.
Delivery | Archiving
The completed translation is delivered in the requested format, properly formatted and accompanied by a terminology file for future projects to help reduce overall costs. If requested, project files can also be archived to facilitate future collaborations.
